Static Pipebursting
About this Video
Static pipebursting uses a hydraulic ram that pulls a series of connected bursting rods through the existing pipe. The bursting rods carry bladed rollers that break up the existing pipe, pushing its fragments into the surrounding soil. An expander attached to the bladed rollers replaces the existing pipe with a new HDPE pipe.
